After recent communication and guidance from the British Holiday Homes & Parks Association (BH&HPA) and careful consideration from Salop Caravans Sites and Bywater Leisure Parks Ltd the decision has been made to close by midnight 22/03/2020. Until such time is safely to re-open.

RSPB Cymru reserves stay open but visitor centres, cafes and shops to close

March 2020

RSPB Cymru is to keep open as many of its reserves in Wales as long as possible but visitor centres, cafes and shops are closing following Government advice on Coronavirus spread.

There will be free car parking at the reserves to allow the public to continue enjoying these amazing places for wildlife, but RSPB Cymru is urging visitors to follow government guidance on physical distancing.

Caravan Holiday Home Owners and Seasonal Tourers on Morben Isaf Holiday Park can join in a wide range of events and activities throughout the year; from Sea Fishing to Gin Tasting - there is something for everyone! One of the longest running activities is the monthly Art Group which started in 2015. The group recently met again after a summer break and a great time was had by all.

Huge increase in visitors as CAT’s sustainable living solutions prove popular

The Centre for Alternative Technology (CAT) near Machynlleth is seeing huge increases in the number of tourists visiting to learn about sustainable living. Visitor numbers have seen risen by 35% compared to the previous year, with July numbers showing a significant 58% increase on 2018.

Tense Finale to Annual Fishing Match

September 2019

Owners on Morben Isaf Holiday Park participated in the Annual Fishing Match held on the Park Lake. Everyone entered into the competition with determination and light hearted banter! Lots of laughs combined with frustration for some but overall a great afternoon with some nice fish caught by young and old. Prizes awarded for Winners of most fish caught and heaviest fish. Well done to all who took part.
